The MacBook Pro 13″ A1708 is the entry-level, no-Touch Bar variant of Apple’s 2016-2017 MacBook Pro generation, equipped with a physical function key row (F1–F12) instead of the OLED Touch Bar found in the A1706. This WISDOM ROCK replacement keyboard is designed exclusively for this model, providing a full-function-key layout that replicates the original Apple design for this configuration.

The A1708 uses the 2nd-generation butterfly switch mechanism, featuring ultra-low 0.5mm key travel and a precise, flat typing feel. The keyboard assembly integrates the backlight directly into the unit on this model, providing built-in per-row LED illumination without requiring a separate backlight sheet purchase.

Each unit is brand new and tested before shipment, ensuring all keys function correctly and the ribbon cable connectors are in proper working order.
