The Nintendo Switch 2 uses a new magnetic attachment system incompatible with original Joy-Con rails. The Aolion Magnetic Adapter Charging Grip bridges that gap, allowing your original Nintendo Joy-Con, Aolion J20 series, and most third-party Joy-Con controllers to attach magnetically to the Switch 2 console and charge during gameplay.

⚠️ Important compatibility note: Original Nintendo Joy-Con controllers cannot attach to or charge via Nintendo Switch 2 without a compatible adapter. The Aolion Magnetic Adapter resolves both issues. Original Joy-Con standard Charging Grip is not compatible with Switch 2.
